Hablar de justicia es hablar de un sistema corrupto lleno de reglas estipuladas para favorecer a los más poderosos, en las cuales siempre hay un vacío legal o, en su defecto, otra regla que pone en entredicho a la anterior, provocando en muchos casos un veredicto de dudosa veracidad que sólo imparte justicia a medias, donde la astucia de los abogados y la imparcialidad del juez juegan un papel determinante.
Dejando claro que hasta donde hay una unanimidad en la evidencia de un delito cometido, si éste no puede contrastarse lo suficiente o no hay prueba firme para demostrar cualquier acusación, todo indicio se desvanece de inmediato...

"...And Justice For All" fue el segundo single extraído del disco del mismo título editado por Metallica en 1988. La canción habla sobre el corrupto sistema judicial americano. Es una de las canciones más largas de la banda, llegando a los 9:44 de duración; se abre suavemente con una guitarra limpia a la que se van sumando otras, poco a poco va creciendo en intensidad hasta que alcanza cierta velocidad y entonces entra la parte cantada. Una pieza que puede resultar algo monotona en comparación a otros temas largos como "Master Of Puppets".
El tema se caracteriza por sus variados cambios de ritmo, estando bastante patente el sonido del bajo, al contrario que en el resto del disco. Debido a su duración y a sus complicadas partes instrumentales, la canción sólo fue interpretada en directo en dos ocasiones hasta 2007, en 1989 (en la gira de presentación del disco) y en 2007. Kirk Hammett comentaría después sobre la canción que no podía soportar ver al público en primera fila bostezando cuando ya llevaban 8 o 9 minutos de canción.

"Lone Justice" es un tema incluído en el segundo trabajo de los neoyorquinos Anthrax "Spreading The Disease" que sigue haciendo hincapié en el mal funcionamiento de la justicia. Empieza con una muy buena intro de bajo a cargo de Frank Bello, y es un tema algo más melódico de lo que solía ser habitual en ellos, cuando lo escucho a mi me vienen a la cabeza aires de Iron Maiden y creo que el fraseo del bajo tiene bastante que ver con ello.
"Spreading The Disease" es considerado una de las obras capitales del thrash metal. Editado por Island records en el año 1985 es un trabajo que como consequencia del cambio de cantante ganó unas nuevas dimensiones en su sonido. Joey Belladonna entró en el grupo sustituyendo a Neil Turbin y es evidente que aportó un aire mas melodico a la voz que su predescesor, como reconocido fan que era del cantante de los Journey Steve Perry. Un álbum clasico del thrash metal.

Finalmente "Street Justice" de Twisted Sister aborda el tema de la justicia pero desde otro ángulo diferente, el que nos brinda diariamente la realidad cotidiana existente en la calle, lugar donde se cometen interminables actos de justicia por ajustes de cuentas y de injusticia por delitos y crímenes infringidos a gente inocente. Pertenece a su aclamado tercer álbum "Stay Hungry" que les abrió las puertas del éxito y también los puso en el punto de mira del PRMC. Éstos eran un discutido comité que fue constituido en EEUU en 1985 para prevenir a la juventud en nombre de la moral más conservadora.
Es sabido que Dee Snider tuvo que enfrentarse a ellos en un juicio sonado del que salió ganador absoluto. El tema fue regrabado, al igual que todo el álbum, en uno de los últimos trabajos de la banda titulado "Still Hungry". Es una de las dos piezas que formaban parte de otra mayor titulada "Horror-Teria", base sobre la cual Snider se inspiraría para escribir el film "Strangeland" (1998) y en cuya banda sonora contribuyeron grupos como Anthrax, Pantera, Megadeth o Marilyn Manson y como no los mismos Twisted Sister.
